For three days the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht was given over to healthcare technology. We were there — not to prove anything, but to listen to what is alive in healthcare and to show what we are working on.
A place to meet
From the moment the doors opened on 14 April, our stand was busy. Visitors came by for a live demo of our AI-driven EHR, and those demos often ran longer than planned — not because we had so much to tell, but because healthcare professionals had so much they wanted to share about their daily reality.
It was those conversations that stayed with us. Not the pitches, but the silences afterwards. The sigh of a practitioner explaining she still spends hours on records in the evening. The director who quietly says he is watching his people burn out. In moments like that our mission becomes sharp again: to shine light into the darkness of another.
What we heard
Behind all the activity, one story kept returning: healthcare professionals are tired. Not of the work itself — that they keep doing with love — but of everything around it. Of systems that do not think with them, of administration that pulls attention away from the person in front of them.
Three things came back again and again:
- Reporting that walks alongside instead of trailing behind — that a 45-minute session becomes a readable report in 30 seconds touched people because it gives time back to what matters
- A system that does not impose itself — no manuals, no weeks of training; many visitors found their way through it on their own within five minutes
- Built from within healthcare itself — that our team consists of former healthcare professionals brought recognition, not a sales pitch
International turnout
What surprised us was how many people came from outside the Netherlands. We spoke with visitors from countries including Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Luxembourg, Sri Lanka and Gambia. International hospital groups and care chains in particular showed interest and want to continue the conversation.
It confirms something simple: the pressure on healthcare professionals is not Dutch. It is human. And the longing for room to breathe, for time, for being truly present with another person — that crosses every border.
What we take with us
We return to work with dozens of quality conversations, many invitations for follow-up demos on site, and a number of organisations that want to make the move this year. But more important than those outcomes are the people behind them. Every conversation was a reminder that technology only has worth when it serves something greater than itself.
Thank you
To everyone who stopped by, who questioned us critically, who shared their story or simply sat down for a moment: thank you. Your openness is exactly the fuel we need to keep doing this work with care and attention.
See you again — at a demo, a webinar, or simply at your location. We will keep listening.
